Events: Week of Aug 29-Sept 4

Dear PHCF, Welcome (officially) to the new school year! This summer has blown by... and we are so thankful for the many friends we've made among the new MPH students at the School of Public Health and others from schools/campuses beyond the SPH. Many thanks to those who joined us for prayer this last week/end; all glory to our God who delights in bringing people together - and in supplying us the joy we need and desire in him! Please continue to pray that we n ot neglect to meet together but rather keep on encouraging one another , and that God has his way among us at JHSPH this year. This week, we do NOT have our weekly lunch discussion because the MPH'ers have break / new students have orientation. Weekly Wednesday lunchtime gathering This week, in lieu of our weekly lunch-and-discussion group, we will have an open time to pray and be still before the Lord in the midst of the MPH'ers finals period. I wanted to share information on an upcoming online webinar series that my organization is launching in August. The series, “Lean In to Your Faith: Meeting Professional Challenges with Spiritual Resources,” features the wisdom of professional women who have achieved a high level of leadership and have led from the foundation of their faith. Welcome to the website of the Public Health Christian Fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health! Who we are: PHCF is a non-denominational Christian community that seeks to encourage believers to grow in their relationship with God, introduce others to Him, and inspire people to glorify God through the training they receive at the School of Public Health. What we do: Fellowship -- Walk alongside and support one another as we study and seek out God's calling for our lives. We love to spend time with each other in prayer, in writing/study accountability groups, in service, and in socials. Mentorship -- Connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students in the JHSPH community who likewise pursue faithfulness to and love for our good God and his people all around the globe.
