1. Weekly meeting: Tuesday 9/27, 12:15pm, W3011
Our weekly PHCF lunch meeting is taking place tomorrow Tuesday Sept 27 at 12:15pm in Room W3011 in the Wolfe Street building. Shawn will be leading us in a discussion of God's sovereignty. Bring your lunch - we look forward to fellowshipping with you!

2. Followup on last week's meeting: resource from Pastor Derek
Last week, Pastor Derek led us in through 1 Peter 2:4-10 and reminded us that we, like Jesus, are living stones being built into a spiritual house for a royal priesthood -- chosen, fully known, and precious in His sight. Pastor Derek also wanted to share this "Bad news, Good news" resource with PHCF'ers: http://www.up-in-out.com/uploads/2/4/2/9/24293890/learning_circle_summary_04162014.pdf

3. Job opportunity with Lifewater International
Lifewater International, a Christian WASH organization based in California, is seeking a WASH Program Officer (Master's degree, 3 years of experience). Please see the announcement here: https://lifewater.org/careers/#op-138847-wash-program-officer. Contact Lindsay Lange (llange@lifewater.org) for more information.

4. Housing Opportunity at the International House in Charles Village
A vacancy opened up last week in the International House Baltimore. If you know any international student or scholar who will be here for a year (more or less), this is a great opportunity to be a part of a living community in a beautiful setting right off the Homewood campus and shuttle. Check out the website http://intl.house or email Karl Dortzbach (KDortzbach@mac.com) for more details.

5. Advocacy Day
Please sign up for Advocacy Day by Wednesday! This is a special opportunity for professional development, just for PHCF members on Friday, 11/4. It includes 1) a training on advocacy for international development and 2) opportunities to speak to congress members about the importance of support of foreign assistance through US funds (i.e. USAID, State Department) for HIV/AIDS, family planning, and maternal and child health. Email Amberle Brown (amberle.grace@gmail.com) or Mona Bormet at Christian Connections for International Health (mona.bormet@ccih.org) for more details. Sign up using this form: goo.gl/EujfdC
