Special talk in Feinstone tomorrow noon, 832 Symposium, CCIH and CCHF conference/scholarships

Dear PHCF, For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.  (1 Cor 12:12-13) As Paul exhorts the church at Corinth that they are one body with many members, so too for us. Praying this morning that, as spread out we are in geography or work focus, we are united through the Spirit in Christ. Please note: today we do  not  have our usual Wednesday gathering. Instead, we encourage you to attend/pray for  Wai Jia's Thursday lunch talk in Feinstone Hall 12noon  (more details in  1. Prayer requests  below). You are welcome to join us at any/all of our recurring gatherings: - Lunch meetings on Wednesdays at 12:15pm in Room W2033 (contact  PHCF ) - Small group on Mondays at 7:30pm in the 929 Apartments (contact  Esther ) - Writing Accountability Group (i.e. study group) on Fridays at

Dear PHCF, Welcome back! It is a joy to to see so many of you back in the SPH halls :) This morning, one verse I wanted to share with you is 2 Cor 3:18 -  We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image . Dear ones, I encourage you to sit for a moment (or several) today, being still before the Lord. Contemplate his glory, his goodness, his grace. How has he worked (and how is he working) in your life? How can you surrender today to him? I pray that as you rest in him you are transformed more into his likeness and that others can see him shining through you. (For more eloquent reflections on this verse, see  today's devo by Oswald Chambers. )  Tomorrow, please join us for our  Wednesday lunch gathering, 12:15pm in Room W2033, for fellowship and prayer ! There'll be snacks :)  *Please note, next week we are cancelling our usual Wednesday gathering and encourage you to attend/pray for Wai Jia's Thursday lu

Wed lunch mtg 12pm W2033, Fri gathering, upcoming Hopkins Christian Symposium, prayer requests, and more!

Dear PHCF, Happy new year! It has been quiet in the SPH with many of you away for winter break, but we are thankful for new, part-time, and other students in our halls for intersession - and pray for not only fruitful learning but also meaningful conversations and new/deepened relationships that point to our Lord. In our current uncertain cultural, political, and academic climate, be reminded that The Lord is my shepherd; I lack nothing (Ps 23:1, scripture song here ) . Can you rest in him this morning, and move in your school/work/family spaces trusting that he is sovereign and good and always-working? Tomorrow, please join us for our Wednesday lunch gathering, 12:15pm in Room W2033 , for fellowship and prayer! There'll be dessert :) You are welcome to join us at any/all of our recurring gatherings: - Lunch meetings on Wednesdays at 12:15pm in Room W2033 (contact  PHCF ) - Small group on Mondays at 7:30pm in the 929 Apartments (contact  Esther ) - Writing Acco
