Wed lunch mtg W2033 (guest speaker Dr. Mosley), housing opportunities, 832 symposium on Christian Faith, Reason, and Vocation

Dear PHCF,

When the Israelites were frozen with fear, stuck between the Red Sea and the oncoming Egyptian army, Moses told them: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” (Exodus 14:13-14) Brothers and sisters, am praying for you to be still before the Lord, to experience his presence, his goodness, and his salvation in the face of all your fears, and for you to see him as your all in all. May you have a renewed sense of wonder today as you contemplate his character and how he has worked in your life. We acknowledge that the world we live in is broken and groaning, but we trust that this is not the end - and til the new heavens and earth come, we have kingdom work to do. Will you step into whatever the Lord has in store for you, trusting him step by step?

This Wednesday, please join us for a special lunch meeting at 12:15pm in W2033. Professor emeritus Henry Mosley (a longtime PHCF supporter/advisor) will share his testimony and how he followed God in seeking/choosing jobs during his career. (and have Q&A with you!)

You are welcome to join us at any/all of our recurring gatherings:
- Lunch meetings on Wednesdays at 12:15pm in Room W2033 (contact PHCF)
- Small group on Mondays at 7:30pm in the 929 Apartments (contact Esther)
- Writing Accountability Group (i.e. study group) on Fridays at 4pm (contact Teresa)

It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night (Psalm 92:1-2)
