Weekly announcements: Tues lunch meeting and Fri/Sat Inter-ministry events
Dear PHCF, in the midst of much turmoil in people's hearts and around the country, we preach to ourselves that in Christ alone our hope is found -- and pray that God continues to reveal to us how he wants us to work for his kingdom right where he has placed us. The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. (1 Tim 1:5)
Several (inter-)ministry events this week that we wanted to share with you:
PHCF weekly meeting, Tues 11/15, 12:15pm, Room E2133 We will have our usual meeting at lunch tomorrow in the Wolfe St Building room E2133! Come for a time of sharing and prayer in the midst of busy-ness, and some dwelling on the fruit of the Spirit over banana bread =) Looking forward to a time of refreshment!
Johns Hopkins International Fellowship Thanksgiving dinner, Fri 11/18, 6:15pm, Green House Cafe in PCTB (725 N Wolfe St, 21205)JHIF is hosting a Thanksgiving celebration this Friday, with music, drama, food, and fellowship. Some PHCFers will be helping out and would love to see you there, too! Brunch, film screening, and devotional discussion with NYOLA Fellowship, Sat 11/19, 11am, Temple of God (1846 N Durham St, 21213)NYOLA fellowship invites PHCF to a special film screening and discussion over brunch -- I am Legend: Revising the Thematic, Reflecting the Theological. It will also be a good time to see how God is working missionally in the inner city. See attached flyer for more details, and RSVP to Francis Govan (410 499 8078 or propps@outlook.com) if attending.
Large Group worship/potluck with the Medical Student Christian Fellowship, Sat 11/19, 5pm, AMEB 270 (1600 McElderry St, 21205)MSCF invites PHCFers to their large group this Saturday, November 18, at 5pm in the Armstrong Medical Education Building room 270. There will worship, dinner, and prayer! It will be a great time to meet and fellowship with our brothers and sisters across the street at the School of Medicine.
