Spring schedule & conference at Homewood campus 2/18
Dear PHCF,
Intersession brings new friends (and old) to JHSPH this cold January Tuesday! Borrowing from Donald Whitney, here's a question to mull on at the start of a new year - an "ideal time to stop, look up, and get our bearings": What’s the most humanly impossible thing you will ask God to do this year?
Perhaps Psalm 23 will inspire you in your seeking His face this morning: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want...
General schedule: Please join us at any of all of our recurring gatherings this spring:
- Weekly lunch meetings on Wednesdays* at 12:15pm in Room W2300**
*moved from Thursday by popular demand
**W2300 is in the hidden hallway of 2nd floor: go to the atrium next to W2008; the hallway with W2300 is next to the copy machine
- Small group on Mondays at 7:30pm in the 929 Apartments (contact Mary and Esther)
- Small group on Saturdays at 11am in Upper Fells (contact Teresa)
- Writing Accountability Group (i.e. study group) on Fridays at 4pm in Room W2303
[For all events, you can access our Google Calendar here!]
Reminder: PHCF is co-hosting a conference on Christian faith, reason, and vocation at the Homewood campus with other ministry groups on Saturday Feb 18, 10am-4pm - breakfast and lunch provided. Find more information and please RSVP here: http://832society.com/symposium -- We would love to see you there! And email jhsph.phcf@gmail.com if interested in helping out!
[Sidenote: ESV.org is offering unlimited access to all available study content on their site through April 4, 2017 -- some really good resources! 😊 take a look!]
Blessings,
Teresa - for PHCF
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he gave us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. (1 Peter 1:3-4)
