It is Holy Week! Wed prayer mtg W2300, Easter celebrations, and more
Dear PHCF,
May grace and peace be yours in abundance! Our hearts are heavy for the persecuted church around the world - and especially for our Coptic brothers and sisters who are mourning in Egypt over the church bombings on Palm Sunday. This Holy Week as we look forward to Jesus' path to the cross, to his death and resurrection, may you rest in the work that He has done on your behalf -- and invite others to know fullness of joy through him as well!
This Wednesday, Shawn will lead us in a special time of prayer, using ancient liturgy to guide us in adoration, confession, supplication, and reflection. Bring your lunch; we'll have some snacks! Looking forward to a sweet time of fellowship in the middle of the week!
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ. (Eph 1:7-9)
Blessings,
Teresa -- for PHCF
