Congratulations graduates! Wed lunch mtg W2300, and other announcements

Dear PHCF,

Good morning! Psalm 146 proclaims:

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob,
whose hope is in the Lord his God,
who made heaven and earth,
the sea, and all that is in them,
who keeps faith forever;
who executes justice for the oppressed,
who gives food to the hungry. (vv5-7)

Congratulations to all those who are graduating today! We are so proud of you and give praise to the Lord who has sustained and grown you this year - to him be the glory, honor, and praise! We pray that the joy of the Lord is your strength, for those who are now jobseeking (or preparing for comprehensive exams, or oral exams, or proposal/thesis defenses, or continuing work! so everyone!). Wherever you go and whatever you do, may you be hungry for Him - and be salt and light for His sake. Please also keep in prayer the incoming class of MPHers (many of whom are arriving in the next few weeks) for their transition to Baltimore, for rootedness and spiritual community.

For the summer, we will continue our weekly Wednesday lunch prayer meetings in W2300 (and please feel free to check out the small groups at 929 and upper fells, or the writing/study group on Friday afternoons). Details/contact info in the signature line at the end.

Love,
Teresa - for PHCF
