Wed lunch mtg W2300, prayers, Faith and FP webinar, Free CCIH registration, and other announcements!
Dear PHCF,
A verse to remember today: The one who lives under the protection of the Most High dwells in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, "my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust (Ps 91:1-2) -- my prayer is that as you wrap up fourth term this week, you experience rest as well. May he show you how he is wholly trustworthy in all your circumstances, and worthy of being made known.
A pause to come before the Lord in the middle of the week in the middle of the day: join us in Room W2300 tomorrow 12:15pm for a time of sharing and prayer! Bring your lunch; dessert provided.
(The World Summit in defense of persecuted Christians is this week, May 10-13 -- please pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the globe. More information here.)
Grace and peace,
Teresa

About 225 million women worldwide have unmet family planning needs. Out of 213 million pregnancies, 40 percent are unintended. And about half of these unintended pregnancies end in unsafe abortions, which cause maternal deaths and injuries. Faith-based organizations can help close the gap in family planning needs and contribute to improved health outcomes, especially among women and girls.
CCIH, APHA, and the Partnership for MNCH are hosting a webinar focusing on the family planning programs and policies of Catholic, Protestant and Muslim organizations working in Rwanda, Kenya, Zambia and Cameroon. Register here.
