Wed lunch mtg W3011, Wai JIa lunch talk, housing/jobs, conferences

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

It is hard to believe that we have come upon the end of the academic year! One verse I have been sitting on this week is Isaiah 55:11 -- the Lord says, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Dear friends, will you believe that his word is mighty and powerful, and that his promises are true? The Spirit that dwells inside each of you when you claim Christ as Lord is the seal, the guarantee, that the work he has started in you will be brought to completion. This year - is there any year that isn't? - has been challenging, with joys and struggles aplenty, bur I pray that the lyrics of this song are an encouragement to you: Make a way
Tomorrow, we will have Wed lunch meeting as usual in Room W3011 - fellowship and prayer time! It's finals week, and it's especially important to carve out a space to re…

Wed lunch mtg W3011, webinar, job and housing opportunities, conferences

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Paul writes to the Corinthian church: and we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Cor 3:18) Brothers and sister, we pray that you too have contemplate the Lord's glory in a fresh way today - to see his hand in your work, in your studies, in your research, in your final exams and papers and projects... and we pray that the Holy Spirit continues to transform you into Jesus' image, more and more day by day. Do not give up hope, dear ones - he is the one who is doing the work! Will you trust him?
Tomorrow, we will have Wed lunch meeting as usual in Room W3011 - fellowship/prayer time! Teresa will be late coming from another meeting, but has missed y'all so please come if you can! :) Snacks will be present too.

Wed open prayer room W3011, and many other conferences/announcements/prayers

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Apologies for the late email, and congratulations to all our MPHers who submitted their capstones! Tonight, I wanted to share a verse that is likely very familiar to you: Joshua 1:9 - Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Friends, do you trust that God is the one leading you in the way you should go (whether in your career, in your schooling, in your relationships, in your daily decisions) and that he is ever present with you in your ups and downs? Will you choose to be centered on Jesus, resting in his strength and courage? (Some more interesting context/commentary on that verse here.
Tomorrow (Wed) at lunch, Room W3011 will be open for you to meet, share, and pray as you feel led. Here is a song to meditate and reflect on: may you draw nearer to the Lord this week.

For those who are staying at JHSPH/in Baltimore after May, we need ne…
