2/11 Lunch Seminar faith/public health (12pm W5030) + worship night + inter-professional fellowship + more!

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light. (Rom 13:12) Dear ones, praying in the midst of much to-do, that you take heart knowing that salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed (Rom 13:11b) and that God - our strength, our joy, our giver of life - is with you always.

Today, join PHCFers for a Lunch Seminar: The Intersection of Faith and Public Health (12pm, W5030). Keynote speaker: Eboo Patel, Founder and President of Interfaith Youth Core, a non-profit organization working to make interfaith cooperation a social norm in America. Eboo served on President Obama’s Inaugural Faith Council and is the author of Acts of Faith, Sacred Ground, Interfaith Leadership: A Primer, and Out of Many Faiths: Religious Diversity and the American Promise. -- plus panel discussion with Rupali Limaye and Naor Bar-Zeev, moderated by David Peters.

Heads up on things-in-the-works: 1) Hopkins interministry worship night and 2) Baltimore City-wide health professionals fellowship. If interested in helping organize either/both of these, please contact jhsph.phcf@gmail.com :)
