2/3 Tues lunch mtg 12:15pm, and many other announcements

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will (Rom 12:1-2). In these verses, Paul transitions from teaching doctrine to application. Dear ones, praying that in all your to-do's with the beginning of the year (or for many of you, the impending end of a degree program), that you are not driven by the urgent. Instead, let your attitudes and actions stem from the inward working of and outward walking with the Spirit. Praying for you to rest on Him who directs your steps (Prov 16:9) always.

Tomorrow, join PHCF for lunch! 12:15-1:15 in W2033 (note: back to the classroom we were in during summer and first term!) to reconnect, share, and plan/pray for third and fourth term! Ideas for Bible study, faculty (or other guest) talks, socials, or other events/gatherings welcome. Heads up on things-in-the-works: 1) Hopkins interministry worship night and 2) Baltimore City-wide health professionals fellowship. If interested in helping organize either/both of these, please contact jhsph.phcf@gmail.com :)
