 Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

"Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave--just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mat 20:26b-28 

Brothers and sisters, I know it may be hard as what is perceived as "greatness" in the world--wealth, power, and influence--differs from what is greatness according to God's standard: serving. I pray that we may continue to humble ourselves, serve others, and persevere in it--just as Jesus did.

5) Global Missions Health Conference - Nov 12-14, 2020

Held annually in Louisville, KY, but VIRTUAL this year, the Global Missions Health Conference is like Intervarsity's Urbana conference - but focused on people in healthcare or public health who have a heart for missions (both globally and locally). GMHC is a weekend of encouragement, networking, learning, prayer, and much more - really helpful to discern God's calling on your life. Registration ($60 for students) is currently ongoing! Wendy Zhang (a friend from the UMB School of Nursing) is organizing a group of folks from Baltimore to watch-party together - please contact her if you'd like to join :)
