Friday 11am ET Bible study

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

When I had lost all hope, I turned my thoughts once more to the Lord (Jonah 2:7). Dear brothers and sisters, this week I learned a lot about Jonah. How he felt hopeless and ran from God's purpose. But because of God's grace, He gave him a second chance. When I reflected on Jonah's life, I could not imagine how scary it might be: sank into the ocean and was swallowed by a large fish. It might tempt me to say, "This is it, the end of my life! How cruel God is!" However, Jonah seized his second chance and "turned his thoughts to Lord". Once again, our God is all-knowing, all-powerful, and all-loving God.
So despite all desperate circumstances in our life and surroundings, I pray that we will continue "turning our thoughts to Lord" and "living to see the Lord's goodness in this present life." (Ps 27:13)
