Fri 11am ET Bible study, Book recommendation, and more

"Love doesn't hurt others. So, loving is the same as obeying all the law." Romans 13:10.

Brothers and sisters, I pray that we continue obeying God's law by showing our love for others. I learned so much from 5 love languages by Gary Chapman. You can learn more about it (and get your own result) on https://www.5lovelanguages.com/ ! I hope this fun information helps! It won't hurt to understand other people's love languages, especially family and close friends!

A few things coming up:
1) Friday Bible Study 11am ET, Zoom link
2) PRAYER REQUEST! (PHCF new feature!)
3) Webinars from ICMDA. Accessible here

But you can also add your name if you want to! Form link.

3) Webinars from ICMDA
International CMDA free webinars, combining global health and christian perspective, are still going on! accessible here

4) Job opportunities through Christian Community Health Fellowship
See PDF link for brief descriptions for providers/administrators who would fit well with missional healthcare ministry and apply at www.cchf.org/match

5) Global Missions Health Conference - Nov 12-14, 2020
Held annually in Louisville, KY, but VIRTUAL this year, the Global Missions Health Conference is like Intervarsity's Urbana conference - but focused on people in healthcare or public health who have a heart for missions (both globally and locally). GMHC is a weekend of encouragement, networking, learning, prayer, and much more - really helpful to discern God's calling on your life. Registration ($60 for students) is currently ongoing! Wendy Zhang (a friend from the UMB School of Nursing) is organizing a group of folks from Baltimore to watch-party together - please contact her if you'd like to join :)

6) Book recommendation
Book recommendations for healthcare workers: Practice by the Book: A Christian Doctor's guide to Living and Serving. For more information, you can contact Jeslyn. (jtengka1@jhu.edu)

Blessings,
Ope, Sam, Kumba, and Jeslyn - for PHCF
