5. Global Missions Health Conference - Louisville KY - Nov 8-10
We hear that the new MPHers have gotten through your first set of midterm papers/quizzes, phew! A song that has been on our hearts for you is Finish What He Started - especially the bridge which reflects Paul's words to the Philippian church: And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. (Phil 1:6). No matter your ups and downs, he is working in and through and around you - and we pray that you continue growing in your trust in Him this week!
Tomorrow, we will meet in Room W2033 (across from Paige Hall/W2030) for Bible study and prayer. We'll have a few BIbles but please feel free to bring your own (or a phone) to read along and discuss. (Passage: Mt 13:1-9,18-23)

Also, starting next Tuesday, Travis Roberts (MPH candidate) will be holding a Bible study on the book of John (room to be announced). These studies will be 11am-1pm over the summer and 12noon-1:15pm starting in Sept. Everyone is welcome; please feel free to invite your non-Christian friends too. If you don't own a Bible, Travis will bring a copy of John for you - please email traviswmroberts@gmail.com (or text 202-468-4361) so he knows! RSVP'ing to Travis would be great, but you're welcome to just show up!

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my Name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there. (2 Chron 7:14-16)
