Wed lunch mtg W2033, Apple picking, Missions conference, Thanksgiving celebration

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Paul writes to the church in Ephesus, Sing and make melody in your heart to the Lord (Eph 5:19). Dear ones, praying that today you sing unto the Lord a new song - revealing your heart's song as Christ overflows in you into your thoughts, attitudes, words, and deeds. May your studies and work be a pleasing act of worship today.

This Wednesday at 12:15 in W2033, we will do a special song and testimony sharing and prayer time. Feel free to bring a song that has touched you recently, or a story of how God has worked (provided, taught, challenged, comforted) you recently.

New PHCF whatsapp group: we've heard some interest in a whatsapp group for easier communication/support/sharing/prayer during the week outside of our meetings / beyond emails. Please email jhsph.phcf@gmail.com with your name and phone number if you're interested in joining.

If you have prayers, reflections, songs, or announcements you'd like to share with the rest of PHCF (or individual questions/comments for the PHCF leaders), please email jhsph.phcf@gmail.com!

Grace and peace,
Teresa - for PHCF

7. JHIF Thanksgiving celebration outreach - (help needed!) Nov 17
JHIF invites PHCF and our international friends to a Thanksgiving celebration outreach event on Saturday, November 17th, from  6-9pm at the large fellowship hall at the University Baptist Church (Homewood campus). The tentative program includes: praise/worship, dinner, Thanksgiving story, and dessert.

We organize the Thanksgiving celebration as an event to not only share the holiday of Thanksgiving, which is unique to the American culture but to also use it as an opportunity to share Christ to our international friends.

In light of this, we are planning to put together a multi-ethnic music team that will be able to share songs from different cultures and has some testimonies and thanksgivings along the way. If you have musical talent and would like to help with the worship team, please contact Lionel at lionel.ctw@gmail.com

If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (1 Jn 1:7)
