Can you believe it's Commencement Day? What a journey it has been this year at the School of Public Health - grateful for the fellowship with believers at our school and the SOM/SON and Homewood campus, and most of all for the Lord walking closely with us at every step. Praise the Lord! And congratulations to all those who graduate today :)
For those of you making decisions (...all of us), one common question is "what is God's will for me? to what is he calling me?" Paul writes in Rom 12: Therefore, I urge you, brothers and si…

Wed lunch mtg W3011, Wai JIa lunch talk, housing/jobs, conferences

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

It is hard to believe that we have come upon the end of the academic year! One verse I have been sitting on this week is Isaiah 55:11 -- the Lord says, so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. Dear friends, will you believe that his word is mighty and powerful, and that his promises are true? The Spirit that dwells inside each of you when you claim Christ as Lord is the seal, the guarantee, that the work he has started in you will be brought to completion. Tomorrow, we will have Wed lunch meeting as usual in Room W3011 - fellowship and prayer time! It's finals week, and it's especially important to carve out a space to re…

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Paul writes to the Corinthian church: and we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Cor 3:18) Brothers and sister, we pray that you too have contemplate the Lord's glory in a fresh way today - to see his hand in your work, in your studies, in your research, in your final exams and papers and projects... and we pray that the Holy Spirit continues to transform you into Jesus' image, more and more day by day. Do not give up hope, dear ones - he is the one who is doing the work! Will you trust him?
Tomorrow, we will have Wed lunch meeting as usual in Room W3011 - fellowship/prayer time! Teresa will be late coming from another meeting, but has missed y'all so please come if you can! :) Snacks will be present too.
Finally, for those who are staying at JHSPH/in Baltimore after May, we need new student lea…
