Fri 11am ET Bible Study (TOMORROW), SOURCE serve opportunity (TODAY)!

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, “I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News.” - Philippians 1:12 (NLT) Last month, we learned how to be faithful witnesses of God and how to extend God's grace from Sam and Tunmise . This week; I was reminded  that it is through our weaknesses and sufferings (not our strengths or success) that we can witness God's grace and love for us in this broken world. "It takes God’s power to patiently endure. And only followers of Christ patiently endure suffering, hardship, and trouble of every kind as it’s a way to bear witness to the Good News of Jesus. Your deepest ministry will come out of your deepest hurt—and your deepest life message will come out of your deepest pain ."-Rick Warren  This world is not all rainbows and sprinkles, more like comets and asteroids, if I might illustrate. This means a lot of opportunities for us to learn how to wi...

Fri 11am ET Bible Study, Job opportunity

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?  - James 4:11-12 Let us be slow to speak and quick to listen. Let us always reflect on ourselves before criticizing or judging others. It is so easy for us to lose sight "to the plank in our own eye" but notice "the speck of sawdust in our brother’s eye". Remember that  "If we judged ourselves in the right way, God would not judge us." 1 Corinthians 11:31 A few things coming up: 1) Friday Bible Study 11 am ET, Zoom  link 2)  PRAYER REQUEST ! ( PHCF feature!) 3) Webinars from ICMDA.  Accessible here 4) Job opportunities 5) Job Opportunity:  World Relief 6) Book r...

Fri 11am ET Bible Study, Job opportunity

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. - 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 Brothers and sisters, it is easy for us (at least for me) to forget how special we are in God's eyes. These verses just to remind all of you that you all are special. Nothing is accidental about our existence and our purpose. God loves you and God made you out of love for different wonderful works He has prepared for us. When we feel like a failure, fear not, because His power is made perfect in weaknesses. Although it seems that other ...

Fri 11am ET Bible Study

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, "I have the right to do anything," you say--but not everything is beneficial. "I have the right to do anything"--but not everything is constructive.  1 Cor 10:23  Brothers and sisters, I pray that we continue to grow and be wise in everything we say and do, especially in this election week. I would also like to remind all of us that our God is an all-powerful and all-knowing God; His plan and His way are better than ours. Let us rest in Him. And remember that friendship in Christ knows no barriers of political views! :) A few things coming up: 1) Friday Bible Study 11 am ET, Zoom  link 2)  PRAYER REQUEST ! Fri 11am ET Bible study, Annual Retreat, Prayer Request, Book recommendation, and more

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, “For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10 (NLT) I learned that success is not about having a lot of money, a wonderful career, being famous, or being someone else. Rather, success is learning how to be what God wants us to be and fulfilling God's purpose in our life. Brothers and sisters, I pray that we could always find God's purpose in this life and have God's eyes so we can see what really matters and how to glorify God with our life.  A few things coming up: 1) Friday Bible Study 11am ET, Zoom  link 2)  PRAYER REQUEST !  Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, "As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job's perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy." James 5:11  Earlier this week, I had a chance to reflect on Job's story. I realized that what we all are facing is far from what Job went through. Can't you imagine being in Job position? Brothers and sisters, remember that  "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." 1 Cor 10:13 I pray that we do not "lose hearts" and continue to put our hopes and dreams to God as Job did so that God can see our faithfulness until the end of our lives.  A few things coming up: 1) Friday Bible Study 11am ET, Zoom  link 2)  PRAYER REQUEST !
