Wednesday lunch mtg W2300 & other events
Dear PHCF, It's the second week of term and everyone seems to be getting used to the rhythm of school again, but let us not forget to pray without ceasing for our community and our country. Love the sojourner, therefore, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt. (Deuteronomy 10:19) Yes, this verse is specific to Israel thousands of years ago, but it still speaks to us with great spiritual power today, and in turn, informs our understanding of how to treat those different from us. Even now, Christians are sojourners on earth until we arrive to our ultimate home with Christ in heaven. So, while we are still alive on earth, let us find ways to love the sojourner so as to reflect God's incredible love for us.
