Labor Day weekend cookout, Fall activities fair, and more!

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, Happy break for our MPH students, happy orientation for incoming Masters and Doctoral students, and welcome back to continuing students! Peter writes, "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence" (2 Pt 1:3) - dear ones, do you believe this promise? Already God has granted all we need for life and godliness! Praying tonight that you grow in knowledge of how high and wide and deep his love is for you, and that this overflows in the love you show to those around you in your work and school and home life, as he calls you into his grace and glory.  A song for meditation :) Announcements: We will NOT have our usual PHCF weekly gathering tomorrow since MPH students are on break / there are lots of orientation activities going on. However: PHCF will be at the fall activities fair on Tuesday, Sept 3rd, 11:30am-1pm

Tues lunch Bible study W2033

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship, Peter told Jesus,  "to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life"  (Jn 6:68). Jesus had just been deserted by many of his disciples after saying that he was the bread of life and that there was no way to believe in Him except through the Father. Dear ones, praying that you remember that you have seen the preeminent glory of the only Son through the Father full of grace and truth, and that you seek no other Savior (meaning, hope, purpose) except Jesus today as you go about the good work that He has prepared in advance for you to do. I encourage you to meditate on the lyrics of this song this morning:  Show us Christ (Sovereign Grace) . Please also pray for those who are now (or soon) settling down in Baltimore for school/work, for practical provision, spiritual community, and for us all to grow in our walks with Jesus Christ our Lord. Announcements: Join us for our first regular weekly lunch meeting  this  Tuesday
