Fri noon Bible study and more announcements

Dear Public Health Christian Fellowship,

Psalm 34 starts, I will bless the Lord all the time; his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Can you believe it is July already? To our new MPH students, welcome! Praying that as a new academic year starts (or as summer work continues) that you rest on God's goodness and let your hearts turn in praise to him who is most worthy.

3) CCIH conference: virtual, free, June 1-July 9! (last week!)
The Christian Connections  2020 annual conference [theme: Holistic care of body, mind, and spirit] is virtual, with a series of online sessions from June 1 to July 9 (now! virtual sessions every weekday at noon). There is no cost to participants, so we hope many people around the world can participate. We look forward to connecting online and having conversations that will continue after the conference. 6) Housing opportunity from (Hopkins Homewood) Graduate Christian Fellowship student Jill Bjerke
Hello! My name is Jill Bjerke and I'm a grad student looking for someone to share my current apartment in Oakenshawe for a 12-month lease beginning in August. It's a lovely, sunny apartment on the second floor of a row house. Minus the available room (which is the largest in the house!), the apartment is furnished. The area is quiet and residential. Rent $750 plus utilities (at most $75/month). 10 minute-walk to Homewood.

I enjoy figure skating, cross-stitching, and European soccer. I'm also a huge Doctor Who/Disney/period drama fan. I'm finishing up my dissertation (but will be here the whole year and hopefully longer) and will be teaching at McDaniel.

I also come with Netflix, Prime, HBO, Hulu, and PBS! I'm looking for someone who is very safe/clean in terms of coronavirus protection. Email me (bjerke.jillian@gmail.com) for pics!

7) Global Missions Health Conference - Nov 12-14, 2020
Held annually in Louisville, KY, the Global Missions Health Conference is like Intervarsity's Urbana conference - but focused on people in healthcare or public health who have a heart for missions (both globally and locally). GMHC is a weekend of encouragement, networking, learning, and much more. Registration ($120 for students) is currently ongoing! Wendy Zhang (a friend from the UMB School of Nursing) is organizing a group of folks from Baltimore :)
