Please share this forwarded message with the GCF, "DTW Fellowship" and PHCF mailing list --peradventure someone would be interested.

Francis is a great friend I met and got to know while I served at the Springfield Fellowship House (an Urban inner city ministry as well). Francis' got a passionate heart for the city. He may be reached/contacted directly by anyone interested/would like to know more about this ministry in the neighborhood.

Blessed greetings Dear Friend,
Let me tell you briefly about a little old local church in east Baltimore. It's called the Temple of God and has history in apostolic faith traditions. However, you would not know that today.

Today it is the only existing building housed in the 1800 block of N. Durham Street. (Yep, right off North Avenue). The City has imploded or knocked down every home or vacant property on the block. At Temple of God, my good friend Minister Daniel Culbreth left the cushy surroundings of service with Friendship Baptist Church in SW Washington, DC to pastor at Temple of God.
Temple of God members welcoming Pastor Dan were the elderly and invalid. Within a few years, the elderly members expired and entered the Lord's presence. Membership really collapsed. Given the makeup and needs of the community at large, Pastor Dan now recognizes that ministry will require taking another direction and meet people where they are.

I am partnering with Pastor Dan in his outreach efforts. In fact, I've accomplished a successful housing ministry (PROPPS) from the Temple of God location on this Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11am. I am pleased to invite you and a few friends to share in a Brunch and THEOLOGICAL REFLECTION surrounding a significantly popular Science fiction film: I AM LEGEND. (Spoiler alert: this was the highest grossing film of 2007 with Will Smith and has creepy monsters-but it is not the theatrical version and includes an alternate film conclusion).

There are no fees involved as this is not a fundraiser but an Awareness & Consciousness Raiser. Feel free to share with a friend - but RSVP and do let me know if you will appear.

Thank you so much for your attention to this notice.
